Berkeley Art Works

Fifth Annual
Art and Earth Juried Exhibition

Accepted Artists

The juror's selections are in! Margaret selected 47 works by 42 artists from 17 states out of over 200 works submitted. We congratulate the artists whose work was accepted and are grateful to the juror, Margaret Winslow for her efforts. Here is what she wrote about her selections:

The works of art included in the Berkeley Arts Council's Fifth Annual Art and Earth Juried Exhibition align with the theme, "Art and Earth: My Art – My World," and represent the range in style, subject matter, and media seen in the submissions I reviewed. When making these selections, I strove to identify works of the highest quality in regards to both form and content. Similarly, I paid equal attention to all the various media I found represented—drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and prints. My hope is that the resulting exhibition will showcase the diverse contemporary art approaches taken today to capturing the natural world—its beauty, its changing form—and our place within it.
