Accepted Works and Awards

The Juror, Geraldine Kiefer, selected 41 works by 28 artists. Congratulations to the accepted artists.

Juror's Statement:

I thoroughly enjoyed jurying this show, particularly because my own work concerns landscape, thematic and conceptual interpretations of nature, altered photography, and mixed media.

When viewing the works I interpreted "art and earth" quite broadly, looking for innovative and thoughtful applications of media, imagery and materials. I loved the mixed-media and three-dimensional work, which I found to be really creative and "out of the box." Moreover, I found submissions in painting and photography worthy of note, and acceptance.

This is a wonderful and "earthy" show for both artists and viewers, opening a window to spring!
